On July 12 and 13 Continental Brandys had again invited some of their suppliers to the supplier sokker cup 2008 to Brandys nad Labem in Czech Republik.

The participants this year where Siemens, Asys, Ekra, and for the first time ERSA, DEK and pb tec. Conti themselves had all together 4 teams.

Andreas Keller, team leader of the der pb tec team, took care of the organisation and he also provided the mental training of the pb tec players. Unfortunately pb tec wants for professional sokker players. But as in most cases the will is essential, in the morning of July 11, the pb tec people went fully motivated in the direction of Czech Republic. They started perfectly equipped with special pb tec shirts, football socks and shin guards. Sales Manager Rudolf Niebling demanded on keeping the goal himself and he performed this task with verve and enthusiasm.

Also all the other participants persevered to defend the honour of the team. The ladies who accompanied the team supported the players by swaying the pb tec banner and providing them moral backup. So at the end the pb tec team was able to reach the quarter-final. The host team was the winner which seams to be more than fair.

For Saturday evening Conti organized a perfect social program with suckling pig, many drinks and much fun for all the teams. The party lasted far into the night and many new friendships where formed.

On Sunday the team went back home to Hanau – tired and with sore muscles – but impressed by the perfect organization and hospitality of Conti. Many thanks again to the hosts for anything! Nexr year the pb tec team will be happy to take part again!
